We have an active Sunday School group at the Church of the Ascension for children from age 3 to 12. We meet during the 9am service every Sunday and enjoy a short time of children's worship with singing, before breaking up into groups for stories and activities, which are age appropriate. There are also special days where the Sunday School time is enjoyed as a group doing a fun activity. Sunday School continues to meet during the holidays, with special activities like a drama workshop, watching a video or playing games. Holiday activities are sometimes provided, including a wonderful craft week in December as well as a children’s Christmas Eve service in which the children play a big part. |
