HOLY WEEK AND EASTER 2010 SUMMARY
Mon 29 March at 19:30 – Taize Service – music interspersed with readings and artwork pertaining to the Last Supper
Tues 30 March at 19:30 – Taize Service – music interspersed with readings and artwork pertaining to Gethsemane
Wed 31 March at 19:30 – The final instalment of the Lent course led by Ron Nicolson on the theme: ‘The Hospitality of God’
Thurs 1 April at 17:30 – Passover Meal All tickets already taken!
Thurs 1 April 10:00 - Eucharist
19:30 – Short Tenebrae Service with Communion, lasting under one hour
20.30 - Night Vigil of Prayer begins
Good Friday Service led by Nic: 10.00am – 12 Noon The Crucifixion viewed through “The Stations of the Cross” There will also be focussed activities for children at the same time, led by Andy Kruger.
CHURCH CLEANING - SATURDAY 03 APRIL FROM 9.00AM Come and join us for a fellowship morning; polishing, dusting and tidying the church in preparation for Easter Sunday. Tea/coffee and hot cross buns are included.
EASTER – SUN 4 APRIL Pre-dawn service at 5.30am, a second service at 8.00am There will be activities for children at both services this year
